Looking for any information anyone might have on a Thomas Daugherty/Dougherty ( Born NJ unk date) married (unk date) Amelia Slack (Born, Buckd County, PA unk date). Had a son John Slack Daugherty/Dougherty (Born 1840). Would like to know Thomas's parents and rest of his children. I don't have any further information to go on to find them. John S. and his wife and children lived in Bucks County, PA and also in Asbury Park, NJ at times. Thank you in advance for any information.

hi my name is Sascha Harris and my maiden last name is Daugherty and I'm trying to find out more about my Irish heritage. My father Daniel Daugherty believes that my grandfather Robert Henry Daugherty came over here from Ireland before marrying my grandmother Elsie Amelia Thorpe. I plan on traveling to Ireland either this year or next and would like to find out more about my family history before I go there. So if anyone has information that could help I would appreciate it very muchly thank you.

My GGGgrandparents Bernard O'Neill (b.1790) & Mary O'Brien Connolly (b.1793) migrated to Argentina with their four children Owen, Edward, John & Katherine c.1825. Mary's family is from Navan, Co Meath and this is documented with correspondence we still have. We suspect Bernard came from Ardbraccan, Co Meath but have no information at all about Bernard's background or family in Ireland. I would very much appreciate any lead that could help us find about Bernard's father, mother, sibblings or any other related information.

Thanks

I'm looking for any information on my gg uncle, a Michael Ryan (born mid-1800s), who emigrated to USA (date unknown), and had some involvement with 'Boss' Croker of Tammany Hall, New York. Unusually, his mother also emigrated to the USA some time after him (date unknown) and went to live with him in New York. As far as I know, they both died there.

I've been trying to trace them for quite a while, so I would really welcome any leads, however unlikely they may seem!
Thanks.
George

Hi,
Is there any possibility Michael's Mother was called Bridget or Margaret, birth name Mara or O Meara. Trying to trace my GGG Grandmother who emigrated to USA in mid 1800's, at an unusually advanced age. Some of her sons' and Daughters', (adults) emigrated with her.

I have a John F. Ryan who was born in 1835, died in 1898. He came to USA, some say when he was 8, but I have not found any proof. He originally was in Illinois, came to Brooklyn, NY and became a prominent residential builder. I have letters from sisters and his father, Phillip, from Co. Meath - Summerhill, Enfield & Moy, Ireland are listed as residence, but no street number. They were land owners, last registered to Jane Ryan, sister Mary, resided with her. Both were unmarried. From my research I've found he had brothers Christopher & Nicholas, and sisters, Jane & Mary, who may have been twins. Perhaps there is a connection. If anyone has further info to share, I'd appreciate the help!
