I was born and grew up in Australia. We followed our father around Australia and lived in most states here, and went to many schools. But I've always felt like a fish out of water, a square peg in a round hole.
I use an electric wheelchair to get around outside, and a manual w/c inside, though I try to get around as much as possible without it... Mostly I use it in the kitchen, as I had an accident a couple of years ago, so I use it for safety reasons.

What does your Irishness mean to you?
My Irishness means everything to me, it helps to define me. As I was growing up, I didn't know who I was and what I was. As an adult, I delved into my 'Irishness' and was finally able to realise who I really was. I'd rather be Irish than anything else.
I play the violin, and would love to learn the various Irish tunes and play the Irish way...
My music and my 'Irishness' plus my religiousness, fully describe who I am. I'm one of the few that really know who I am, and where I belong...
What interests would you like to share with other people
I totally love Irish music, writing and poetry.. I do have other interests, like scrapbooking, beading, and I paint and sketch, and use watercolour pencils.
I read a lot, and love the internet for communicating and forums.
Well, it's a start !!!
