Site offline 3rd September 2008

The SeventyMillion Social Network site was offline and unavailable for a good deal of yesterday 3rd September. The reason for this was an issue with the Ning platform which hosts this site. The SeventyMillion.com Social Network site is hosted on the Ning platform. Yesterday, Ning made some updates and changes to the underlying platform code so that they could roll out some new functionality for the Tabs bar. SeventyMillion Annual General Meeting

On the 10th July, Digital Diaspora Ltd, the company that runs and operates the SEVENTYMILLION Project, had its first AGM. Indeed, this was the first time that the people involved in founding the proect, Nick and Karl, had actually sat face to face to discuss it. So, on the agenda was:

We're at 418 and we're in 25 countries. Now, we've only got another 60-something million people and 150-odd countries to go. Yep, we've got some way to go yet.
