Some intuition led me to open this email, although I do not believe we will find a connection. The Bridget Mullen who married into our Hannigan family back in mid 1800s was located up in northern Maine. We've not been tracing Mullens at all really..…
We found ours back in 2007--Slainte! Anyone out there who might connect with Hannigans-Hennigans-Hartes-Currids from the Barnribbon area in County Sligo [were there esp back in 1900s?] would love to 'chat'.
We've established this group for people who are interested in finding out about their family history. By working together, we can help each other. Ask questions, exchange ideas, links etc. on genealogy.
the thought occurred that the global Irish wine aficionado community might agree to taste same/similar wines on/about same time; and then comment. Also, a place where we could post articles about new/unusual regions.
Back in 2000, I rented a car and drove around from Galway to Dublin to Slaine to Newgrange to Killarney to Cashel to Mitcheltown to Cobh to base of Dingle and back to Ballyvaughn where my daughter and soninlaw were. For the most part traveling as an…
Born and raised in Hodgdon, ME; family from Ireland in mid 1800's on Hannigan/Hennigan side with a homestead in New Limerick back then. Finally connected, thanks to a cousin who hired a researcher, to our roots in County Sligo, at the base of BenBulben, and we met cousins there, Ann & Jimmie Hennigan...just this last year...so exciting!

What does your Irishness mean to you?
Probably too much pride in it, yet it is such a treat to have roots in the land, not only there in Sligo, but also here in The County in Maine--not so different.
Do you have a website or club that you want to let others know about?
Not yet...no time. i put myself on the map, yet my shamrock does not seem to stay there! Nor can i seem to add the correct color [red] for the fourth generation.

Hi Karen,
Did you try the potato bread? Not bad is it? I might just put up my mums Irish Stew recipe!
A search box for the map site(www.seventymillion.org) not this one right? I think that's a very good idea. I'll stick one on in the next couple of days and drop you a line when I do!
Regarding the password and email stuff. Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to reissue the password details (again, it's one of the things we will fix when we get a few bob from a sponsor). However, you can simply add a new shamrock and I'll delete your old one.
I'll look into your shamrock colour. You know you can edit your deails and move your shamrock. You need your User ID (it's a number that we sent you when you added yourself to the map.) Anyway, check you email for an email from info@seventymillion.org (note: not seventymillion.com - we do this just to confuse you.) You'll have your log in details and then you'll be able to edit your information.
